Bling-bling

I needed a quick success inbetween and so, I made those two bracelets on the weekend- inspired by a basic instruction by Joanie Jenniges and trying myself. Since I hate the 2-needle-crossweave technique, I did it with one single needle and it worked as well!

Navajo Bracelet

A tooth extraction can be a benefit for the creavitiy- since I was doomed to keeping still on the couch over the weekend I used the extra time to make something Native American again- I give you my peyote bracelet!

News from Julie!

Blumenkugeln:
Die Mohn-Kugel stammt aus „The Art of Beaded Beads“, allerdings hab ich sie vom Blütenende her gefädelt und nicht von der Mitte nach außen wie angegeben. Vergissmeinnicht und Rose sind meine Interpretationen.

Flowery Beaded Beads: the poppy-bead is from "The Art of Beaded Beads", only I started to bead from the end and not from the middle to the outsides as told. Forgetmenot and rose are my own interpretations.
Sampler-Kette:

Sampler Necklace: the beads for this necklace have already been posted on the "Perlhühner"- Blog, but I want to show the final result here now. I wanted to have many different beads and there were many more ideas, but the necklace would have become endlessly long. It even attracted my bosses attention during our Christmas party at the office!

Bracelet and earrings consisting of blue and green triangles with black stripes- just playing around here.

The big purple glass beads inspired me to make this necklace- it was a gift for my dear colleague who always loves beaded things!

My first Ziggy and a Pitaya beaded bead- many thanks to Mariposa for the great instructions!

This is a so-called Flashy-bracelet, designed by Peetje und now copied and meticulously beaded by Santafe. Thanks a lot for the instruction, Peetje!

Meet Ziggy

May I introduce- this is Ziggy, I finally have one of my own, too! He hails from an instruction by Mariposa and this specimen was now born in Munich.

Green and purple...

... this is one of my current favorite color combinations. Would you believe it doesn't necessarily have to be aaalways pink, brightest orange and purple for me?
Here I tried to incorporate as many beaded beads as I only could.
