Es hat einigermaßen lange gedauert, einigermaßen Geduld und Nerven gekostet, auch einigermaßen Durchhaltevermögen, aber es hat sich einigermaßen gelohnt, finde ich... Hier also mein neuester Zugang, das dreidimensionale Armband aus dem aktuellen B&B- Buch.
It took quite a while, quite a few moments of patience and nerves, also quite a bit of stamina, but it was worth it quite a bit, I dare say... So here it is, my latest work, the three- dimensional bracelet from the latest B&B- compilation book.

Jaaaa, und nach langer Pause habe ich endlich wieder einiges zu zeigen und nun wird hoffentlich klar, warum das so lange gedauert hat, denn bis auf eines (das Armband) waren das lauter seeeeeehr langwierige Fleißarbeiten. Aber: besser spät als nie, daher voilà: das grüne Monster und Konsorten, die seit dem letzten Post im März enstanden sind!
Yesss, and after a quite long break I finally have something to display again and now you hopefully understand why it took so long because except for one- the bracelet- all the projects were veeeery timetaking, even timesucking work. But better late than never and alas, voilà: the green monster and his friends, born since the last postings in March!

In der neuesten Beadwork fand ich dieses Armband, das mir auf Anhieb gefallen hat, also mußte es sofort gemacht werden. Natürlich etwas bunter als die Vorlage, aber das weiß ja inzwischen jeder...
I found this bracelet in the latest edition of Beadwork magazine and had to make it right on the spot. Of course I ended up with a wee more colorful version than the original, but everyone should know this by now...
Ich weiß, Weihnachten ist vorbei, aber wie wäre es mit Oster- Sternen? 5 Rivolis der gleichen Farbe wirken ziemlich unterschiedlich, je nach der Farbwahl der Umrandung. Fand ich irgendwie spannend.
I know that Christmas is over, but how about a few Easter stars? 5 Rivolis of the same color make a very different appearance depending on the color choice of the framing. Somehow, this was appealing to me.
Nach langer Zeit mußte es mal wieder ein Armband werden, weil ich zu einem neuen Teil leider gar nichts schmückendes anzuziehen hatte... ja, wer's glaubt, Ausreden gibt es immer gute!

Vor einiger Zeit hat mir Perlenkatze einen Donut geschenkt- manche Dinge brauchen länger, um zu werden, aber jetzt hab ich endlich was gefunden, was zu dem schönen Stück paßt. Die Anleitung ist übrigens von Flymouches Seite.
Vorder- und Rückseite sind unterschiedlich, somit kann man ihn zweifach tragen, also ein Multifunktionsschmuckstück!
Some time ago, Perlenkatze gave a donut to me- some things take longer to be turned into something, but now I finally found a technique to enhance the beautiful piece. The tutorial is from Flymouche's site. Back and front side are different and can be worn in either way, so now it is a multifunctional piece of jewelry!

Endlich ist es fertig, mein Ewigkeitswerk! Es hat wirklich lang gedauert, bis sie zusammengewachsen ist, weil bei mir Teile machen superschnell geht und mich voll motiviert, aber das Zusammensetzen, Vernähen und- igitt- am Ende noch Verschlüsse machen, DAS zieht sich immer!
Finally it's ready, my long-time-piece! It took ages to get assembled because making single pieces is pure joy and I'm motivated, but assembly, suturation and- bleargh- attaching closures and toggles... that's stuff I always procrastinate!
Ich war ein bißchen im Kugelfieber und habe gleich 3 Kugeln probiert, zwei französische und eine Ootheca- die fristen gerade ihr Dasein als Probestückchen, aber es kann durchaus noch was draus werden!
I got into a ball-frenzy and tried 3 boules, two from French tutorials, one Ootheca. Right now, they are still awaiting further usage, but I'm sure it will work out!
Das Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Mutter, die ein Hundertwasser- Fan ist. Hier habe ich versucht, die Farben und Formen des Künstlers in einem Peyote- Stäbchen einzufangen. Außerdem ist es praktischerweise auch wendbar, sie kann es mal bunt, mal dezent tragen.
This is my Christmas gift for my mom who loves the artist Hundertwasser. Here I tried to capture the color and shape he uses in his paintings into a peyote-stick. It also can be worn double-faced to display the colorful or more unobtrusive side.

Endlich, endlich gibt's mal wieder was zu sehen! Ich war nicht untätig, aber Bestellungen (so schön sie auch sind, sie brauchen Zeit) und langwierige Projekte (immer noch nichts davon fertig) haben mich aufgehalten. Nun war's aber soweit, daß ich mal wieder ein schnelleres Erfolgserlebnis wollte und daher ist dieses Set mit Ohrringen fertig geworden.
Finally, finally there's something to show again! I hadn't been lazy, but working on some orders (as great it is to have orders, they take time) and long-time projects caused some procrastination. However, recently I needed a quick result and felt like making this sparkly set with necklace and earrings.
Und das hier mußte sein, nachdem ich immer wieder mit Martinas Rumfort- Technik konfrontiert wurde, ich mußte es auch versuchen! Macht Spaß und sieht richtig gut aus, und die Farben sind auch von Martina inspiriert, denn... es ist GOLD mit drin!
This simply had to happen, after I kept being confronted with Martina's "Roundgone"- technique (meaning that you use things that keep laying around and have to go... sounds better in German, it is a pun that doesn't really work in translation, sorry). I just had to try it and it was a lot of fun, looks great and the colors are inspired by Martina as well because... the color GOLD was used!

Ich habe neulich entdeckt, daß ich fast überhaupt keine schönen grünen Schmücker habe, die zu meinen wenigen, aber sehr grünen Shirts passen! Dem mußte also schnell Abhilfe geschaffen werden!

Ich habe mich endlich mal aufgerafft und die bisher fertigen Einzelteile fotografiert, die in diesem Haushalt so herumschweben. Verdient haben sie ja eigentlich, online gezeigt zu werden, auch wenn sie (noch) nicht Teil von etwas Komplexerem sind... da muß ich nochmal heftig in mich gehen, was mit denen passiert, aber irgendwann wird es, das weiß ich!

I finally got around to take pictures of the finished beaded objects that keep floating loosely in this household. I think they deserve to be shown even though they are not yet part of something complex... I still have to ponder how to incorporate those UFO's into something, but it's going to happen, that much I know!
