Pineapple Flower

Dieses schöne Teilchen entstand mit der lieben Hilfe von Christine- eine wunderbare Anleitung, wie ich finde! Und so schön appetitlich- ananassig, irgendwie erinnert mich diese dreiteilige Perle an eine Ananas oder Blüte. Oder beides. Oder so. 


This lovely piece was created with the help of Christine- a wonderful tutorial in my opinion. And so appetizing- somehow pineapple-ish. Somehow this three- component- bead reminds me of a pineapple or a flower. Or both. Or such.

Victorian Set

An einem verschneeregneten Wochenende mußte mal wieder ein schnelleres Erfolgserlebnis her als die in letzter Zeit üblichen Ewigkeitsprojekte. Also eine meiner Beadworks geschnappt, eine der "wollte-ich-schon-immer-mal-machen"- Listen angeschaut und dann wurde es das viktorianische Armband. Und weil's so gut ging, habe ich gleich noch Ohrringe dazu gemacht.
Folglich konnte frau heute auch gut angezogen aus dem Haus gehen und mußte keinen nackten Hals haben... weil ich ja sonst nichts zum Dranhängen habe, hihi!


Last weekend having been a sleety one I felt like needing a quicker project than my currently eternity- projects. So I grabbed one of my Beadwork magazines, went thru my "wanted-to-make-this-for-ages"- lists and then I ended up with this victorian bracelet. And because it worked up so nicely I added a pair of earrings, too. 
And thus, me was able to leave the house well- ornamented today instead with a bare naked neck...  as if I wouldn't  have anything else to sparkle myself up with, tee hee.

Hier kommt die Perle Europa! Ich habe sie bei Perlette94 gefunden, Mille Merci für diese schöne Anleitung, aber sie mußte farblich etwas vom gezeigten Schema abweichen...

Dichro-Mania

Und wie angekündigt- ich wollte ja den zweiten Dichroic-Glasstein auch noch umperlen. Hier ist er nun, und da er nicht verschenkt wird, mußte ich auch keinerlei Farbbefindlichkeiten beachten. Hihi!

And as announced- I had planned to bead the other dichroic-glass-piece as well. Here it is now and because it's not going to be given away I didn't have to observe any color-issues. Teehee!

Blooming Bead

Nichts, gar nichts blüht derzeit da draußen, daher mache ich das innen. Ich wollte auch eine Blooming Bead von Sand Fibers haben und auch wenn das eine ziemlich aufwendige, perlenfressende Aktion war, sie ist spannend zu machen!

Nothing, absolutely nothing is blooming outside right now, so I made this happen for inside. I wanted to have a Blooming Bead by Sandfibers as well and though it turned out to be a real intricate, bead consuming task it was really thrilling to make one!

Winter Donut

Nachdem es hier so viel Schnee hat, bin ich durch das ganze Weiß inspiriert und habe ausnahmsweise mal mit viiiiiel Farbbeschränkung eine winterliche Version des Donuts gemacht, der mir zur Zeit sehr viel Spaß macht. Und nein, ich bin nicht krank wegen der Farben...

Since we are "drowning" in snow here I got inspired by all the white around and made an exceptional color-tame winter version of the donut that I currently love to make. And no, I 'm not sick because of this unusual lack of colors...

Donut-mania

Und noch ein Donut- der hier ist für meine liebe Freundin Julie, die zur Zeit ja nur noch strickt und wenn sie etwas haben möchte, dann erbarme ich mich derzeit gern und perle es ihr, damit sie die Nadeln nicht weglegen muß. Hihi! Und natürlich in Farben, die andere Leute wahrscheinlich konvulsivisch zucken lassen...

And another donut- this one here is for my dear friend Julie who's currently knit-addicted, so when she sees something that she likes, I have pity with her and bead it for her so that she can keep her knitting needles in hand. Heehee! And in colors that probably make many people twitch...

Dichro, Dichro, where are thou?

Und das ist einer der beiden Dichroic- Glass- Steine, die ich aus USA mitgebracht habe. Der hier wird ein Geschenk, der andere, den ich gerade umperle, darf sich dann demnächst hier vorstellen und der wird auch meiner bleiben!

And this is one of the two dichroic-glass- stones that I brought home from USA. This one here is going to be a gift, the other one that I'm currently beadframing will introduce himself here soon and it's going to stay mine, too.

Donut Color Shock

Patapouf!

Nach einer langen Pause- nicht schaffensmäßig, sondern fotografier- und einstellmäßig- zeige ich hier endlich wieder mal ein paar Werke, die hoffentlich ein bißchen Farbe in den kalten grauen Winter bringen!
Die Perlen sind Patapoufs von Peetje, danke dafür, und ich fand, daß sie auch gut in einer Kette wirken!

These beads are called Patapouf, thanks to Peetje, and I thought they looked real nice in a necklace, too!

Donut Cube

Ein Schatzzzzz, den es bei Perle4You gibt: der Donut- Cube, allerdings mußte einfach etwas türkis rein, und auch etwas pink und- naja, weil ich grade dabei war, fand ich, daß orange auch gut paßte-- und tadaa, hier ist er, meine Version des Donut Cubes!

A preccccious, available at Perle4You: the Donut Cube! I had to add something turquoise and then some purple and well, while I was at it, I thought some orange wouldn't do harm either-- and tadaa, here it izz, my version of the Donut Cube!

Bracelet Capricho

Und hier ist ein Aufheiterer für die langen, kalten, dunklen Wintertage, in zumindest teilweise typischen Santafe- Farben! ;)

And here's a perk-up for the long, cold, dark winter days- at least partially realised in typical Santafe- colors! ;)

Tortuga

Nein, nicht die Pirateninsel in der Karibik, sondern die schöne Anleitung von Mariposa. Natürlich versuche ich auch hier, meinem Farbschema treu zu bleiben- es gibt fast nichts, was nicht geht und verwende niemals ganz dezente Farben.

No, I'm not talking about the island in the Caribbean, but the wonderful instruction from Mariposa. Of course, I have tried to stick to my personal color pattern- anything goes (almost) and never ever use unobtrusive colors.

Double Rose Window

Es scheint irre schwer, aber wenn man ma ein bißchenl hinter die tollen Perlen von BeadInfinitum steigt, erklärt sich manches von selbst. Und dann kann schon mal ein Double Rose Window herauskommen.

It seemed incredibly intricate, but once you get the idea behind the great beads from BeadInfinitum, some steps explain themselves to a certain extent. And then you could end up with a Double Rose Window bead, finally.

Olive

Nachdem es sehr schwer war, passende Holzoliven zu den vorhandenen Anleitungen zu finden, war es mir dann irgendwann egal und ich habe einfach eine der Oliven "frei Schnauze" umperlt, die ich hatte.

Since it proved very difficult to find matching wooden olive beads to the tutorials I have, I finally gave up and simply beaded around an olive I had without using any tut.

Eye of the Rivoli

Wenn ich schon mal im Umperlen- Fieber bin, dann aber richtig. Aus den 5 Silberrivolis wurde eine Kette, und diesmal endlich wieder in Santafe- Farben. Was habt ihr anderes erwartet, ich kann nicht ganz aus meiner Haut...

While being befallen by the "frame-the-rivoli" fever I cling to it. The 5 silver rivolis are connected to a necklace and this finally consists of Santafe colors again. What else did you expect, I cannot suppress it...

Green Sunset

Der Rivoli ist eigentlich ganz gelb, aber mit den grün-orangen Zusätzen erscheint er jetzt eher grünlich, daher der Name. Wieder mal ein spannendes Farbenexperiment.

The rivoli actually is yellow, but with the green-orange beads added it now makes more of a greenish impression, hence the name. This is another interesting color experiment.

Bella Beads

Spät aber doch hat auch mich die Bella Bead erwischt und es entstanden gleich zwei- die ungewöhnlichen Farben rühren daher, daß es Geschenke waren und da sollte man doch ein wenig auf das Farbempfinden der Beschenkten achten. Es geht einfach nicht immer alles in knallbunt mit orange und lila, ich weiß...

Better late than never- the Bella Bead got me after all and I made two of them in unusual colors (for me). The reason is that both were gifts and you should consider the color preferences of the recipients sometimes. It's not always appropriate to only use shriekingly colorful hues with orange and purple...
